Yangming Cultural Park – located in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, reopened to the public on March 23 after months of shutdown due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
During the opening period, the park adopted some measures to ensure its safety, including taking thorough disinfection measures and measuring body temperature of staff members twice daily.
All tourists were required to wear masks and scan the Guizhou Health 110 QR code. Only if the QR code showed normal could they enter the park.
To celebrate the park's reopening, officials said visitors from all over the country can enjoy a 50 percent discounts on tickets as long as they register with their ID cards.
In addition, the park offers a lifetime free ticket policy to all medics in medical assistance teams that were sent to Hubei.
The park is regarded as the best place to learn about the spiritual outlook and historical value of the philosophy of Wang Yangming, a famous Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) neo-Confucian philosopher.
