Abundant mine resources

Xiuwen County has bauxite reserves of over 100 million tons, hematite reserves of over 21 million tons andraw coal reserves of 350 million tons. The county is also abundant in pyrite, barite, phosphate, silicon, mercury, kaolin, refractory clay, solvent limestone, cement rock and other mineable resources.

Abundant water energy

There are 13 rivers whose inland watershed area measures over 20 sq km, put together reaching a grand total of 798 sq km. There are 250 meters of river for each sq km. There are also 6 hydroelectric power stations that have been consecutively built: Hekou, Xiuwen, Zhaixiangkou, Honglin, Hongyan and Suofengying.

Abundant electricity

Xiuwen County has seven 35KV electric substations, five 110KV ones and two 220KV ones. Its actual load accounts for 60% of the total capacity.

Abundant land space

Xiuwen County's planned area totals 341 sq km. The industrial park has a planned area of 50 sq km. A 20 sq km part has been finished and another 30 sq km is waiting to be developed and constructed. Xiuwen County has the largest industrial reserve land in Guiyang.
