Kaiyang Suxi Park welcomes lots of visits

Since opening in early August, Suxi Park in Nanjiang township, Kaiyang county, has become a must-visit summer retreat for tourists from across the province and beyond, thanks to its natural canyon landscape and pristine stream waters.

Surrounded by lush, untouched mountain forests, the park features winding, crystal-clear streams with gentle currents and moderate water levels along most stretches, making it especially suitable for families seeking a nature-immersed summer escape.

The park offers a roughly 4-kilometer trail with a total experience time of about four hours, featuring diverse attractions tailored to different visitor groups. In the family-friendly zone, gentle shallows serve as a safe and fun water playground for children; in the adventure zone, thrill-seekers can take on popular cliff-jumping platforms and other challenging activities.

The park operates daily from 9 am to 2 pm. Since opening, its popularity has continued to rise, with weekly visitor numbers reaching around 1,500 and showing a steady upward trend.
