On Nov 20, Shuangliu town in Kaiyang county, Guiyang, held the inaugural meeting of the Shuangliu Chamber of Commerce and its first general assembly, with over 40 attendees.
During the meeting, participants reviewed and approved the chamber's constitution, financial management and membership fee policies, and election procedures. They also voted to elect the first president, secretary-general, vice presidents, and other members of the chamber's leadership.
As an industrial hub of Kaiyang county, Shuangliu town is home to 404 enterprises, including 11 enterprises above a designated size. The establishment of the chamber marks a significant step forward for the town in developing its non-public economy, fostering healthy development and growth among private entrepreneurs. It signifies a transition from individual business efforts to collaborative development.
Member representatives expressed their commitment to aligning their business interests with Shuangliu's development goals. They pledged to use their networks and diverse channels to promote the town's strategic location, business-friendly environment, and cultural heritage, thereby attracting high-quality investments to the town.
