The village collective economic cooperative, members of the village committee, and residents invested a total of 6.25 million yuan ($879,375), contributing 96.03 percent, 1.88 percent, and 2.09 percent, respectively. The village established a cultural media company with a third party and registered an account in March of this year to launch e-commerce livestreaming.
Local products such as bursting tofu, spicy potato chips, and seasonal fruits have been listed on the village's e-commerce livestreaming platform. So far, a complete e-commerce business chain has been established, covering procurement, logistics, planning, livestreaming, and backend operations. This has helped local farmers and businesses sell various agricultural and sideline products.
To date, the platform has created over 260 jobs and generated more than 130,000 yuan in additional income for the village collective.
To expand the talent pool for livestreaming, Chayuan village has proactively explored a new model of school-enterprise cooperation for e-commerce teams. The village signed a campus e-commerce training program with Mingde College of Guizhou University, forming 19 livestreaming teams with 78 members. This initiative has attracted a wide range of new media entrepreneurs and fostered e-commerce talents through training and incubation programs.
