The National Health Commission recently issued a notice commending institutions that demonstrated outstanding performance and high-quality services in the 2023 Quality Service at the Grassroots Level campaign. Among the total of 2,427 commended institutions is the Community Health Service Center in Yunkai sub-district, Kaiyang county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The Quality Service at the Grassroots Level campaign is an effective measure to enhance grassroots capabilities in disease prevention, treatment, and health management. It is aimed at accelerating the development of a high-quality and efficient medical and health service system and enhancing people's wellbeing.
The selection process for medical institutions involves procedures such as self-evaluation by the institutions, review at the county or district level, provincial and municipal re-evaluation, on-site consistency evaluation by a national expert group, and information system review.
Commended institutions are encouraged to continue their efforts and strive for further achievements. They are advised to focus on providing comprehensive and continuous basic medical and health services, continually improve service capabilities, and constantly enhance service quality.
