As the end of March approaches, the Kaiyang industry and information technology bureau has recently estimated the county's industrial statistics for March and the first quarter.
Kaiyang is expected to have achieved a total industrial output value of 2.08 billion yuan ($284.69 million) from enterprises above a designated size in March. The industrial added value generated by these enterprises is estimated to have increased 4.53 percent year over year to 726 million yuan.
From January to March, the county is expected to have achieved a total industrial output value of 6.53 billion yuan and an industrial added value of 2.28 billion yuan, both generated by enterprises above a designated size, with a 20 percent year-on-year growth.
Industrial investment in March is projected to have reached 705 million yuan, while from January to March, it is expected to have totaled 1.53 billion yuan.
During this year's Spring Festival holiday (Feb 10-17), 21 of the county's 42 industrial enterprises above a designated size maintained normal production, 16 suspended operations for the holiday, and five ceased production due to market, seasonal, or administrative factors. All 16 enterprises that suspended operations for the holiday have resumed, achieving a 100 percent resumption rate.
The county also has 18 key industrial projects under construction. All of them paused operations during the Spring Festival holiday. However, all have now resumed work, achieving a 100 percent resumption rate.
