Kaiyang's industrial output value ranks first in Guiyang city

In the first four months of this year, Kaiyang county ranked first in Guiyang in terms of the growth rate of gross industrial output value and industrial added value above a designated size.

Statistics from the Kaiyang county industry and information technology office show that from January to April, Kaiyang saw a total of 7.55 billion yuan ($1.13 billion) in industrial output, a year-on-year increase of 52.49 percent, and had an industrial added value of 2.02 billion yuan, an increase of 20.1 percent compared with the same period last year.

Meanwhile, over the same period, 3.26 billion yuan in industrial investment was carried out, a year-on-year increase of 114.61 percent.

Kaiyang also finished the construction of standardized workshops covering a total area of 55,000 square meters.

In recent years, Kaiyang has been striving to build a modern industrial system with new energy battery materials as the main chain and high-end phosphate fertilizer, the fine phosphorus chemical industry, aluminum and aluminum processing as auxiliary chains.

It aims to build itself into China's energy storage capital and develop a modern industrial system with an industrial scale of 100 billion yuan.

At the 13th CPC Kaiyang county congress, the county set up a goal of achieving more than 50 billion yuan in annual GDP and generating a total industrial output value of 80 billion yuan to 100 billion yuan.

In 2022, Kaiyang plans to add 17 manufacturing enterprises above a designated size and make sure that the major industrial projects under construction will be finished and put into production on schedule.
