Kaiyang zone reaches half of industrial economic development goal

The Kaiyang Economic Development Zone in Kaiyang county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has completed half of its annual goals for industrial economic development and construction.

In the first half of this year, the Kaiyang Economic Development Zone organized six business and investment promotion activities in East China's Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shandong provinces and conducted matchmaking with 17 enterprises.

Agreements for a total of five projects were successfully signed during the activities, with a total of 560 million yuan in investment in place.

In addition to attracting investment, the Kaiyang Economic Development Zone solved a number of difficulties faced by 36 enterprises related to production, operation, and project construction, ensuring healthy and stable economic operations.

The zone has also formulated action plans to serve infrastructure construction projects, business promotion projects, and industrial enterprises.

Due to these efforts, a total of six projects under the jurisdiction of the Kaiyang Economic Development Zone have started construction, and 200,000 metric tons of a phosphogypsum comprehensive utilization project was completed and began operating.

Around 50 problems related to construction projects faced by enterprises were also solved.

Moving forward, the Kaiyang Economic Development Zone plans to take further measures to help solve project and enterprise development problems and boost high-quality economic development.
