Kaiyang, Jiangsu partner for two projects in 2021

Kaiyang county in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has introduced two projects from East China's Jiangsu province since the beginning of 2021, according to local media reports.

The two projects have a combined investment of 172 million yuan ($26.66 million), with 45 million yuan in place.

Since the beginning of 2021, Guiyang has begun cooperating with Jiangsu on multiple projects. From January to April, Guiyang introduced a total of 13 investment projects from Jiangsu.

Among the 13 projects, two are in the primary industry, with an investment of 112 million yuan and 32 million yuan in place; six are in the secondary industry, with an investment of 1.01 billion yuan and 287 million yuan in place; and five are in the tertiary industry, with an investment of 294 million yuan and 42 million yuan in place.

From May 10 to 11, an investment promotion event was held in Guiyang to introduce investment from Jiangsu.
