Kaiyang county in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed a cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Efful Science and Technology Co Ltd on April 7. The deal covers a project for the comprehensive utilization of 3 million metric tons of phosphogypsum per year.

It is expected that the project will be formally put into production within 18 months after the development land is secured. Once operating at full capacity, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 800 million yuan and offer employment to around 150 people.
