Kaiyang county in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, obtained 205.44 million yuan ($30.64 million) to support education projects and development this year, according to a report from People's Daily.
To date, the newly-constructed second phase of the Fifth Kaiyang Middle School, the Second Longgang Town Kindergarten and the Third Kaiyang Kindergarten have already been put into use.

Meanwhile, other education facilities are still under construction. These include the Seventh Kaiyang Primary School, the Eighth Kaiyang Primary School and the experimental building of the First Kaiyang Middle School, as well as the comprehensive building of the Third Kaiyang Primary School, and the playground and auto training base at the Kaiyang County Vocational and Technical School.
