Kaiyang county in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is making efforts to improve administrative services and help create a more robust business environment.
The measures include simplifying administrative approval procedures and materials, shortening approval times and promoting online administration of government services.
Since the beginning of this year, Kaiyang county has set up one comprehensive service window, 10 industry service windows and another 11 service windows in the county's administration service center.

Yang Guangfu, director of the Kaiyang service center, introduced that Kaiyang has also launched 671 government service items involving key areas such as public security, market supervision, education, medical care, social insurance and transportation. These services feature high application frequency and are of great importance to optimizing the business environment.
At present, more than 88 percent of government service items in Kaiyang county can be handled online, and over 60 percent of the service items can be addressed as soon as applicants arrive at Kaiyang Administration Service Center.
Meanwhile, Kaiyang county's time limit for administrative examination and approval service commitments has been reduced by more than 84 percent, following the national legal time limit.
