Kaiyang delegation seeks opportunities in Jiangxi, Guangdong

A delegation led by Wang Qiyun, Party secretary of Kaiyang county -- administered by Guiyang city, in Southwest China's Guizhou province -- paid a visit on June 2-7 to Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces to seek business opportunities, according to local officials.

The delegation went to Xinyu city in Jiangxi and then to Guangzhou, Foshan and Shenzhen cities in Guangdong in succession over a six-day trip. 

They carried out investment investigations into new energy development, the health food industry, real estate development and other fields to learn advanced development concepts and get practical experience.

At a symposium held in Shenzhen, Zhongshang Think Tank -- a non-governmental research consulting agency -- gave a briefing on a recent survey of investment conditions in the four major industrial supply and production chains in Kaiyang.

Wang Qiyun had in-depth exchanges with business representatives and listened to the opinions and suggestions of entrepreneurs on Kaiyang’s investment potential.

Wang also gave a brief talk on Kaiyang's resources, transportation, industry, tourism, environment, culture and location advantages. He extended invitations for enterprises to pay a field visit to Kaiyang and negotiate on potential projects there.

During the delegation's trip, Kaiyang county signed cooperation agreements with the Shenzhen Cultural and Tourism Promotion Association, Guangzhou-headquartered Guang Sheng Group, the Hong Kong Lianchen Group and the Zhongshang Think Tank, officials said.
