Officials from a total of six tourism companies in Kaiyang participated in a tourism promotional activity on Dec 7 in Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of southwestern China's Guizhou province.
The tourism enterprises included Nanjiang Grand Canyon, Hou'er Tiankeng -- a naturally formed pit -- and Yunshan Tea Plantation Area.
They brought along special tourism products for promotion, which officials said greatly boosted the popularity of Kaiyang's cultural tourism products.
In addition, the staff members from tourism companies offered free consultation services and gave advice on preferential policies to those who came to participate in the activity.
The "2019 Guiyang Winter Culture and Tourism Marketing Activity" was sponsored by the Guiyang Culture and Tourism Bureau and opened in Venice Square in Zhongtian City Center Park in Guanshanhu district.
Wei Dingmei, vice mayor of Guiyang city, Yuan Yunlong and Zeng Xiaozhu, director and deputy director of Guiyang Culture and Tourism Bureau -- along with hundreds of people from related industries -- attended the event.
