Engineering group partners up with Kaiyang county

Kaiyang county – in central Guizhou province – and China Railway 20th Bureau Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on Nov 14, according to local officials.

Wang Qiyun, Party secretary of Kaiyang, said that the county is making great efforts to build itself up as an example of rural revitalization by making full use of its cultural and industrial advantages.

He expressed his hopes that China Railway 20th Bureau Group's participation in the rural revitalization of Kaiyang could advance its industrial development and transformation.

"China Railway will give impetus to Kaiyang's economic and social development," Wang said. 

"The two sides will make their respective advantages complementary to each other and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results," he added.

"Kaiyang will further improve its service consciousness and provide more considerate and efficient services for companies doing businesses in the county," Wang said.

Deng Yong, chairman of China Railway 20th Bureau Group expressed his confidence in the company's investments in Kaiyang, given the county's abundant resources and favorable investment environment.

"We will actively take part in the development of Kaiyang's economic and social development, so as to make more contributions to the county," Deng said.

Officials said further negotiations will be carried out at a later date.

China Railway 20th Bureau Group is an engineering corporation involved in railway construction, road construction, and municipal engineering.
