A ground-breaking ceremony was held at Kaiyang county in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, Aug 24, for four industrial projects with total investment of 500 million yuan ($71.11 million).
According to local authorities, construction started in late August on the projects that cover the comprehensive utilization of "three wastes" (waste gas, waste water and industrial residue), high-end abrasive processing, intelligent mine construction, and the pharmaceuticals industry.
After the completion of these projects, it is estimated that the annual output value will reach 1.35 billion yuan, create more than 450 jobs and provide strong momentum and support for the high-quality development of Kaiyang county.
