Xianghuo Rock Scenic Area

The Xianghuo Rock scenic area is located in Hefeng Township, Kaiyang County. It is 60 kilometers away from Guiyang, the provincial capital city, 16 kilometers away from Kaiyang County, and only 4 kilometers away from Nanjiang Grand Canyon, a national 4A level scenic spot.

With convenient traffic, the scenic area has a planned area of 20.7 square kilometers and is characterized by typical karst original ecological features. It is a Guizhou provincial scenic spot featuring eco-tourism, sightseeing, scientific research, and Buyi and Miao ethnic group culture.

In 2000, it was identified as one of the 155 most promising scenic spots in China by the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Tourism Administration. In 2001, it was approved as a provincial scenic spot of Guizhou Province. In 2002, it was praised as China's green karst ecological park at the National Geographical Economic Year.

The Xianghuo rock scenic area is an ideal destination for summer tours, sightseeing, leisure, health and outdoor sports, all taking advantage of its beautiful scenery and wonderful attractions.
