Guizhou strengthens targeted land and mining services for businesses

The Guizhou Department of Natural Resources held an on-site administrative approval policy consultation at its service window in the provincial government service center on Sept 16 to improve the business environment and ensure policies supporting enterprises in land and mining are implemented effectively.

Officials from multiple divisions, including mining rights, mineral reserves, and registration, provided face-to-face consultations for businesses and other market entities. Focusing on frequently asked questions, they explained policies and procedures for transferring and renewing mining rights, filing reserve verification reports, paying mining rights transfer proceeds, court-assisted enforcement, and supplementary land transfer fees.

The consultation also addressed individualized operational issues, helping businesses better understand relevant requirements and procedures. The ongoing service has received positive feedback from participating enterprises. One company traveled from Chongqing specifically to learn more about Guizhou's natural resources policies supporting its "developing rich mineral resources with precision" initiative and to safeguard its legitimate interests.

For complex requests involving multiple departments or sectors, the department has also taken a proactive approach. In one case involving a financing company and issues related to settling a debt with property, officials coordinated remote consultation with relevant divisions and proactively connected the company with the chief representative of the Guizhou Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development at the same service center.
