On June 26, the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning launched a series of public awareness activities for the 36th National Land Day. Centered around the popular Wenchangge roadside concert, the campaign combined science education with interactive activities to promote land resource protection in an engaging way.
During the event, a dedicated National Land Day consultation booth was set up at Wenchangge Square, where staff members provided information and consultation services for the public.
The campaign focused on explaining laws and regulations related to land management, the requirements for protecting cultivated land, and geological disaster prevention and relocation policies. Informational brochures and leaflets were distributed, while practical souvenirs such as reusable shopping bags, themed refrigerator magnets and customized umbrellas encouraged greater public participation.

More than 1,500 people took part in the activities, and over 1,000 copies of promotional materials were distributed.
Ji Hongfan, deputy director of the bureau, attended the event and interacted with the public, disseminating information on cultivated land protection, territorial spatial planning and intensive land use.
By integrating government outreach with the city's cultural tourism brand, the campaign blended the message of land conservation with the lively atmosphere of the Wenchangge roadside concert, making environmental awareness both accessible and memorable.
