Guiyang and Gui'an hold fire prevention, control training session

The 2024 Forest Fire Prevention and Control Skills and Safety Emergency Evacuation Training Session was recently held in Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area.

The training, organized by the Guiyang bureau of forestry, was conducted using a combination of online and offline methods, with the main venue set up at the city's forest fire control center and branch venues established at the natural resources bureaus in various districts and townships across Gui'an.

The training invited instructors from the Guizhou team of the National Fire and Rescue Administration to share their experience and provide training on forest fire prevention and control, firefighting skills, fire safety, and emergency evacuation.

Following the training sessions, participants watched video analyses of fire scenes and typical cases of forest fires. More than 3,800 people, including the city's firefighters and forest rangers, took part in the training.

The aim of this training was to learn from the practical experience of the national fire and rescue teams, as well as to enhance knowledge of firefighting skills, fire scene evacuation, and fire safety. This is intended to further strengthen the awareness of forest fire prevention and control among relevant personnel at all levels, as well as to improve the on-site command and emergency response capabilities of forest fire teams in Guiyang and Gui'an.
