Real estate, marriage data shared in Guiyang

Data sharing recently kick-started in Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – in terms of the registration of real estate properties and divorces, reportedly in order to streamline proceedings and make them more efficient.

The joint exchange of information is being undertaken by Guiyang's real estate registration center and the Guiyang civil affairs bureau.

The action is being taken to coordinate and ensure the full and regular implementation of divorce applications and findings in relation to property.

Through the data sharing platform, citizens will be able to avoid the complicated procedure of getting proof of their marital relationship from June 1.

The sharing of civil affairs information is believed to reflect the great strides being made in the era of big data, which promise convenient and better services for the general public.
