Guiyang establishes new law-enforcement team for natural resources

Guiyang's bureau of natural resources and planning established its first administrative law enforcement team on Oct 16 in Nanming district, Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The team will assume law enforcement duties in the field of natural resources and planning and will oversee land and mineral assets as well as land usage planning, mapping and remote sensing detection using satellites.

The team will be in charge of administrative punishment involving municipal-level land, mineral and surveying and mapping issues. It will also assist the bureau with land planning, verifying construction projects' compliance and supervising the construction of approved projects.
