Project approvals speed up amid epidemic control

The Guiyang natural resources and planning bureau is streamlining its administrative reviews, approvals and services with a new no-contact service -- in a bid to improve novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control measures, as well as economic growth and social development.

People can apply for administrative vetting and approval in 39 categories on the provincial government's service platform -- zwfw.guizhou.gov.cn -- and they can be dealt with by the bureau online, without physical contact, officials said.

During the existing epidemic prevention and control period, the local authorities approved two projects, a public health and rescue center and a hospital, as well as 88 other procedures.

This ensured the timely delivery of urgent medical projects and the resumption of work and production on schedule.

Enterprises and individuals can apply in 44 categories and submit the required documents for approval. Those who apply for mining rights can visit the official website of the Department of Natural Resources of Guizhou Province and make a reservation to submit materials at the service hall center.

Individuals can go to the official WeChat account of Guiyang Real Estate Registration Center for online appointment, before heading off to the office to register in person.

The registration center has handled 2,674 registration cases during the current epidemic period, at an average of 127 per day.
