Vicenza delegation visits Guiyang to strengthen bilateral ties

A delegation from Vicenza, Italy, arrived in Guiyang on Jan 31, commencing a two-day friendly visit.

The delegation first explored Jiaxiu Pavilion, then visited the key scenic spots of Cuiwei Garden, appreciating Guiyang's cultural heritage and experiencing the city's landmarks up close.

They then paid a visit to Qingyun Market to admire the distinctive charm of local intangible cultural heritage items, including silver jewelry, batik, and other cultural creative handicrafts.

Amid authentic Guizhou flavors such as siwawa (Guiyang spring rolls), laoguo (stir-fried vegetables, tofu, and meat), specialty grilled chicken, and local craft beer, they experienced the lively atmosphere of Guiyang's daily life. They also immersed themselves in the city's "four refined" culture of boutique coffee, beer, dining, and cultural creative products, feeling the dynamism of Guiyang's nighttime economy.

On Feb 1, the delegation visited the Guiyang Urban and Rural Planning Exhibition Hall, Guizhou Hankaisi Intelligent Technology Co (PIX Moving), and the Guizhou Jiangjiu Group to discuss potential cooperative ventures, aiming to further strengthen friendly cooperation between the two cities.

Guiyang and Vicenza have a long-standing history of friendly exchanges. Since their partnership began in 2018, both sides have continuously strengthened communication and cooperation in culture, education, sports, and tourism, steadily solidifying people-to-people friendship.

This visit will build upon years of friendly exchanges between the two sides to further expand cooperation into new areas.
