The delegation first visited the Guiyang Urban and Rural Planning Exhibition Hall. In the guided tour, the delegation appreciated the ecological strengths and development potential of "Cool Guiyang" through the hall's diverse displays, and highly praised Guiyang's scientific urban planning and dynamic growth.
"The exhibition logic of the hall is clear, and the content is detailed, allowing us to see the past and present of Guiyang, and feel the rapid development of this city and the strength of China," said Petros Tatoulis, former Greek deputy minister of culture.

The delegation members immersed themselves in the market, experiencing the blend of intangible cultural heritage with modern commerce, and appreciating Guiyang's urban vitality and unique cultural and tourism charm.

Maria Spiliopoulou, a journalist of Xinhua News Agency's Athens Bureau, said, "Guiyang has both a modern style and the unique charm of an old city. The aroma, authentic flavors, and local lifestyle in the markets have left a deep impression on us."
She added that while Greek people are familiar with Beijing and Shanghai, they know very little about cities like Guiyang in Southwest China. After this firsthand experience, she will recommend Guiyang to her family, readers, and friends, and encourage more people to pay a visit.
Guiyang and Tripolis became friendship cities in 2024, fostering fruitful cooperation in areas such as mutual visits, trade, education, and ecological protection.
