On Feb 27, a truck loaded with 25 metric tons of dragon fruit entered the Gui'an Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Half an hour later, the batch completed customs clearance and was directly transported to the Shiban Town Fruit Wholesale Market in Guiyang for sale.

"From being picked in Vietnam to being marketed in Guiyang, these dragon fruits are 'off the tree' in less than 24 hours, preserving the 'tropical flavor' of Southeast Asia to the greatest extent," said Li Jun, the person in charge of the purchase of this cargo.

Three months ago, the Southeast Asia cross-border logistics transportation open channel was established in the Gui'an Comprehensive Bonded Zone, operated by one of the zone's subsidiaries. Goods are loaded in Southeast Asia, pass through the Pingxiang Port in Guangxi, and are directly transported to the Gui'an Comprehensive Bonded Zone, where customs clearance procedures are completed. This greatly simplifies procedures and reduces logistics costs, significantly shortening the transportation time for imported and exported goods.

This year, the Southeast Asia logistics channel project is expected to operate around 450 trips. Currently, it is actively connecting and opening up cross-border logistics channels in the directions of Gui'an-Yunnan Hekou-Vietnam, Gui'an-Laos, and Gui'an-Thailand.
