In recent years, the Guian Free Trade Zone (Guian FTZ) in Southwest China's Guizhou province has focused on industrial development, attracted investment, optimized its business environment, expanded and strengthened its manufacturing cluster, and worked to become an industrial base-type free trade zone.

According to data, in the first half of this year, the added value of the Guian FTZ's industries above designated size - those with an annual revenue of 20 million yuan or above – reached 495 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 296 percent, and imports and exports were valued at 6.82 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50 percent.

In the first half of the year, the zone signed agreements for 26 investment projects with a total contract amount of 4.72 billion yuan, including 15 manufacturing projects involving processing and trade, promoting the construction of industrial base.

To continue providing VIP services, the zone established a responsive enterprise service center and a grid-based management service system. When a company submits a demand or problem, the center will distribute it, and government departments will accept it and send staff to handle it.

The center supervises the entire process, promoting timely problem solving, fast policy implementation, and efficient business processing.

Since its establishment in 2022, the center has received 446 demands and issues raised by companies in the zone, 444 of which have been resolved – a resolution rate of 99.55 percent.
