Direct flights between Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, and Macao are scheduled to resume on Aug 19.
The flights will be operated by Air Macao every Wednesday and Saturday. Air Macao has opened direct flights to Macao from 22 cities in the Chinese mainland, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Chongqing.
The resumption of direct flights between Guiyang and Macao will make it more convenient for people to travel between the two cities and for goods to be transported.
For a limited time, Air Macao will be offering promotional prices for flights departing from Guiyang, with one-way fares starting from as low as 575 yuan ($79.77) including taxes, and round-trip fares starting from as low as 1,125 yuan including taxes.
In addition, on the Air Macao official website, passengers can purchase package deals of "plan tickets + hotel" for their Macao vacations.
Passengers can reach Macao in less than two hours to try out its cuisine, visit cultural attractions, and experience the city's unique exotic charm.
Passengers holding visas for third countries can enjoy a visa-free stay of up to seven days in Macao for round-trip travel. Air Macao currently operates 10 routes from Macao to other countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.
By purchasing Air Macao connecting flights departing from Guiyang, passengers can collect both boarding passes at the departure counter at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, and their checked luggage for transfers within 24 hours can be through-checked.
