In 2022, the percentage of days with good air quality in Guiyang reached 100%, ranking fifth among 168 key cities and third among provincial capitals in China. In 2022, the city had 660 newly built parks, such as forest parks, wetland parks, mountain parks, urban parks, and community parks, bringing the total number of parks to 1,025. Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport has 228 routes to 108 cities in China and 25 routes to 24 overseas cities. The Guiyang-Guangzhou, Shanghai-Kunming, Guizhou-Chongqing, and Chengdu-Guizhou high-speed railways are in operation, and the one linking Guiyang with Nanning is to open to traffic this year.
