An online activity attended by more than 50 high school students from Southwest China's Guizhou province and Japan's Saga prefecture was held on Dec 1.
Ge Lei, headmaster of Guiyang No 10 Middle School, said that the activity was an opportunity to boost cooperation between Guizhou and Saga on Chinese and Japanese language education as well as strengthen friendship between students on both sides.
During the activity, students from Guizhou and Saga introduced themselves and their schools via video chat, showcased their talents, and discussed language learning, school life, life outside school, food, anime and the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
Guizhou's friendship with Saga has lasted for more than 20 years, and has been successful in terms of high-level visits, agricultural technology cooperation, tourism cooperation, sports cooperation, and exchange between students and civil servants.
