Guizhou Party secretary meets with Israel's ambassador to China

Shen Yiqin, secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee and chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial People's Congress, held a meeting with Irit Ben-Abba Vitale, Israeli ambassador to China, and Ran Peleg, consul general of Consulate General of Israel, in Guiyang on July 27.

Shen welcomed the ambassador and consul general and discussed Guizhou's social and economic development. Currently, Guizhou is enhancing its opening-up and seeking for more international cooperation.

Guizhou and Israel have carried out fruitful cooperation over the past few years and Shen hopes that Vitale's visit can boost Guizhou and Israel's cooperation in investment, rural revitalization, science and technology, big data, and tourism.

Vitale is impressed by Guizhou's development achievements and is optimistic about future cooperation. She will take the 2021 Guizhou Israel Smart Agriculture Rural Revitalization Business Support Seminar as an opportunity to further cooperation between Guizhou and Israel.
