A delegation from the Guiyang Foreign Affairs Office visited Jiagang village in Yangchang town, Wudang district, Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou, on June 24. The visit was aimed at learning about rural revitalization in the village.
Led by Zhang Mingquan, director of the Guiyang Foreign Affairs Office, the delegation observed Jiagang village's high-standard farmland project, mushroom plantation project and environmental protection situation, offering suggestions on future work.
The delegation also held a rural revitalization symposium with Jiagang's officials and Party members. At the symposium, Jiagang officials introduced the village and its work priorities, difficulties, and shortcomings.
The delegation praised Jiagang's efforts in rural revitalization, and provided advice on government organization, talent cultivation, industrial development, social morality, and rural governance.
Zhang stressed that rural revitalization is key to rural development and that all village officials should strive to develop a collective economy and featured industries, improve the living environment of rural areas, and aim for high-quality rural development in the future.
