Italy, Guiyang seek e-commerce cooperation

Guido Bilancini, Italian Consul General in Chongqing, participated in the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2021 (Big Data Expo 2021) in Guiyang from May 25 to 26.

On the morning of May 26, Guido attended the opening ceremony of Big Data Expo 2021 and granted an interview. In recent years, Guizhou has developed rapidly and big data has become its prominent advantage, he said, hoping to go around in Guizhou, as promoting friendly exchanges between Italy and China is his important responsibility. He noted that Vicenza and Guiyang cherish longstanding friendship. Italy, not superior in e-commerce, hopes to explore e-commerce cooperation with Guiyang through Big Data Expo 2021, he added.

According to Guido, Vicenza excelling in machinery manufacturing and jewelry hopes to cooperate with Guiyang in e-commerce and Internet + in regard to the above-mentioned fields, thereby coping with COVID-19, accelerating online business development, developing new ways and channels for the industrial transformation of Italian enterprises.

Guiyang Foreign Affairs Office will continue to strengthen contacts and coordination with the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing, to push forward the establishment of the sister-city relationship between Guiyang and Vicenza, and explore more cooperation opportunities.
