France's economic counselor to promote Guiyang

Julien Defrance, Economic Counselor at the Consulate General of France in Chengdu, participated in the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2021 (Big Data Expo 2021) in Guiyang from May 26 to 28.

During the Big Data Expo 2021, Julien attended several high-level dialogues such as the High-level Dialogue on Big Data Boosting Rural Vitalization and Artificial Intelligence High-level Dialogue, participated in observation tours of big data achievements and visited exhibitions.

During his stay in Guiyang, Julien also had a meeting with International Cooperation Promotion Center of Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Safran Aircraft Engines (Guiyang) Co., Ltd. At the meeting, Tong Chuan, Director of the International Cooperation Promotion Center, introduced the industrial development features, talent introduction measures and development plans of the zone, hoping that Julien would help the zone bring in French-funded enterprises matching the industry chain of Safran. Julien promised to report the zone's cooperation needs to the French Consulate-General, and introduce Guiyang and the zone to more French-funded enterprises.

Guiyang Foreign Affairs Office will follow up the progress of the project cooperation between Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone and France, helping attract more French-funded enterprises to settle in Guiyang.
