On the morning of May 26, Katerina attended the pavilion tour and opening ceremony of Big Data Expo 2021, and granted an interview. Many companies in Czech are working with China and there will be more space for cooperation between Czech and China in the future, she said.
In the afternoon, Commercial Consul Roman Musil visited Guiyang Free Trade Zone (GFTZ) and had a meeting with heads of the Investment Promotion Bureau of GFTZ. The two sides reached consensus on the previous cooperative agreement which includes building the Central Europe-Guiyang trade junction station, establishing a warehousing & logistics center and promoting bilateral trade. Both sides undertook to deepen cooperation, promote trade, and introduce Czech's quality products to Guiyang via the cross-border e-commerce platform and offline business center of GFTZ (Cloud Ark), thus facilitating the production and packaging of Czech's hot-selling products in GFTZ.
Guiyang Foreign Affairs Office will continue to strengthen contacts and coordination with the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chengdu, develop new exchange and cooperation channels, help push forward cooperative projects with GFTZ and facilitate substantial cooperation with Czech companies.
