Wolfgang Rudischhauser, German Consul General in Chengdu, participated in the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2021 (Big Data Expo 2021) in Guiyang from May 25 to 27.
On the morning of May 26, Rudischhauser attended the pavilion tour and opening ceremony of Big Data Expo 2021, and granted an interview. He hailed Guiyang as a beautiful and fast-developing city, was impressed by its urban development and looked forward to its future development.
In the afternoon, Rudischhauser, accompanied by Xiao Zhenneng, Executive Vice Mayor of the Qingzhen Municipal People's Government and Jiang Ping, Vice Chairman of the Administrative Committee of Qingzhen Vocational Education Town, visited the Sino-German Competition & Training Center of Guizhou Industry Polytechnic College and Guizhou Vocational and Technical College of Water Resources and Hydropower, and held meetings with the colleges. The two sides exchanged ideas on Germany's dual vocational education model and Sino-German vocational education cooperation. Rudischhauser said he was willing to promote Germany-Guizhou vocational education cooperation in water conservancy and hydropower, nursing and other fields.

Before leaving Guiyang, Rudischhauser hoped to learn more about big data industry development in Guiyang, and planned to lead more German enterprises to Guiyang next year.

Guiyang Foreign Affairs Office will maintain a close contact with the German Consulate General in Chengdu and relevant departments, invite more German enterprises to attend Big Data Expo and visit Guiyang next year, and promote Germany-Guiyang cooperation in fields such as big data, vocational education and football.
