Southwest China's Guizhou province and South Korea's North Jeolla Province will hold a forum on big data development during the 2021 Big Data Expo, which will open on May 26 in Guizhou's capital city of Guiyang and run to May 28.
The forum aims to promote further cooperation between the two provinces in big data and to help them achieve mutual development.
Big data experts from Guizhou and North Jeolla will be invited to offer opinions on big data development, while Guiyang and North Jeolla Province's capital Jeonju will sign a big data cooperation agreement at the forum.
As one of China's first batch of big data comprehensive pilot areas, Guizhou has grasped the opportunities to develop big data and has been ranked 6th nationwide for six consecutive years for its digital economy growth rate.
North Jeolla Province is also devoted to intelligent industries such as artificial intelligence, data development and security, as well as the internet of things, laying the foundation for cooperation with Guizhou.
