A delegation from Germany's consulate general in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan province, visited Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on April 12.
The delegation visited Guiyang's hydrogen energy industrial cluster and Qingzhen's vocational education city and pump-track industrial park, which are projects co-constructed by Guiyang and Germany, to seek opportunities for future cooperation.
During the stop at Qingzhen's vocational education city, the delegation visited the Guizhou Vocational College of Industry & Commerce and Guizhou Industry Polytechnic College and learned about the two colleges' campus culture and featured disciplines.
Hae-Seok Na, a member of the delegation, was impressed by the vocational education city's efforts and achievements in vocational education development and introduced Germany's dual vocational education system, wishing for further cooperation with Guiyang.
In recent years, Guiyang has achieved progress in its cooperation with Germany in sectors such as middle- and high-end manufacturing and new energy.
The Guiyang Foreign Affairs Office has maintained a friendly relationship with Germany's consulate general in Chengdu and provided cooperation opportunities for Guiyang and Guian New Area.
