Twenty-four ambassadors, diplomats and experts of international organizations visited Guizhou Big Data Exhibition Center in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Dec 15. Vice-Foreign Minister Le Yucheng accompanied the delegation.
As the core area of Guizhou's national big data pilot zone, Guiyang has become the province's big data industry leader and is known as the "data valley of China." Guiyang will use the big data industry to help drive its economic growth over the next five years.
The Guiyang Foreign Affairs Office has strived to introduce Guiyang's big data development history and achievements to the world. Since the beginning of this year, the office has accompanied 80 guests from 26 countries to visit the Guizhou Big Data Exhibition Center.
