When flight HO1642 from Bangkok, Thailand, arrived at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport at 7:16 pm on Sept 3, the recovery of Guiyang's international air routes had officially begun.

Preparations for the flight's arrival continued right up until the morning of Sept 3, with the city's work team for epidemic prevention and control of overseas returnees fine-tuning procedures to ensure passengers' safety.

The work team inspected Guiyang customs' epidemic prevention and control monitoring room and the airport's nucleic acid testing stations and entry channels. The workers also checked the designated quarantine hotel to learn about the inspection and quarantine procedures.

An hour before the flight arrived, Guizhou's provincial and municipal foreign affairs departments rechecked the inspection and quarantine procedures at the airport's command room.

The work team also established a group chat involving related departments to report the status of the incoming flight, ensuring the accurate and timely flow of information.

Considerable effort was made to prepare for the resumption of international flights, with workers coordinating epidemic prevention materials, holding meetings to provide recovery suggestions and organizing drills for epidemic prevention and control.
