To further prevent and control the spread of the novel coronavirus and boost the recovery of international air routes, the State Council issued a notice that people entering China must be quarantined and present a negative nucleic acid test.
All people should undergo a nucleic acid test before boarding a China-bound flight. Local governments should make sure the people are transferred, quarantined and receive medical observation after entering China.
People arriving in China who have a negative nucleic acid test from abroad and test negative again at their point of entry can be transferred to their residence for home quarantine and community observation.
Port cities capable of providing centralized quarantine can continue offering 14-day quarantined medical observation for people entering China and arrange two nucleic acid tests.
People who show abnormal symptoms during home quarantine or have positive nucleic acid test results after home quarantine should be sent to a designated medical facility to receive further diagnosis or treatment. The close contacts of suspected cases, confirmed cases and individuals with asymptomatic infections would be quarantined and receive medical observation.
