The provincial and municipal foreign affairs departments in Southwest China's Guizhou province co-held a visa issuance training meeting on Aug 13.
At the meeting, foreign affairs departments stated they would continue implementing prevention and control measures for the novel coronavirus epidemic while also promoting the resumption of work and production.
The issuance of visas, especially those inviting foreign employees to work in China, can promote international exchanges and cooperation for Guizhou's companies.
During the training session, Zhang Mingquan, head of Guiyang foreign affairs office, discussed Guiyang's experiences inviting foreigners to China through "express channels" during the epidemic.
Zheng Yuanheng, director of the consular office at Foreign Affairs Office of Guizhou Province, and Li Ping, deputy head of Guiyang's foreign affairs office, introduce the rules and procedures of the "express channel," along with approval steps, nucleic acid test requirements and channel management.
