Guian New Area in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently exported the first batch of Guizhou-made electric vehicles to Armenia in East Europe.

Produced by Sitech DEV, an electric vehicle manufacturer based in Guian New Area, the Sitech DEV1 was released in 2018 with a range of 350 kilometers on a single charge.

It can be recharged to 200 km in 30 minutes under its quick charge mode, and be fully recharged in 5.5 hours in its trickle charge mode.

As an important participant in the Belt and Road Initiative, Armenia has achieved positive results through its cooperation with China on road construction, power facility construction, and new energy.

Guizhou's export to Armenia is expected to promote the potential of electric vehicles made in China to the international market, bolstering Guian's electric vehicle manufacturers' efforts to explore the overseas market.

Statistics show that the global total sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 5.64 million by the end of 2018. It is estimated that the global market share of new energy vehicles will reach 50 percent by 2035.

As the new energy vehicle industry prospers in the country, China's preferential policies will allow more manufacturers to export vehicles to more countries.
