An IT training course for developing countries was recently held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, with 57 trainees from 21 countries attending the course.
The 30-day course was organized by the Guizhou Academy of Science, which invited international experts and scholars to share the latest knowledge in the fields of computer software, hardware, and internet technologies.
In addition, trainees will have the opportunity to visit IT related companies in Guiyang to learn more about local conditions, language, and culture, as well as local technological achievements in big data, 3D printers, smart robots, and online government affair services.
The trainees said that they were overwhelmed by the advanced IT research and applications, and were eager to have further cooperation with China on related areas.
The Guizhou Academy of Science has successfully held 19 such courses since 2003, with over 700 trainees from developing countries benefiting from the courses.
