The Gui'an New Area computing power industry cluster project, part of the national "channeling computing resources from the east to the west" initiative, celebrated the opening of its first phase with a grand promotional event on Sept 2.
The project is the result of collaboration between CEC Optics Valley Holdings Limited and Gui'an Development Group, and aims to create a high-end, intelligent, and green computing power industry cluster.
It represents a significant investment in the region's digital infrastructure.

The project, covering an area of 840 mu (56 hectares), has a total planned investment of 13.85 billion yuan ($1.90 billion), with 618 million yuan having been spent on the first phase alone.
This first phase spans 218 mu and boasts a total construction area of 118,000 sq m, with 116,000 square meters available for commercial use and 2,000 sq m dedicated to supporting facilities such as underground spaces.
