In a recent press conference held by the Guizhou Provincial Government, ambitious plans were unveiled to develop three industrial clusters worth 500 billion yuan ($68.49 billion) each by 2027. These clusters will focus on advanced resource processing, new energy battery materials, and modern energy.
Additionally, the province aims to establish three more industrial clusters, each valued at 300 billion yuan and centered on Moutai-flavored liquor, big data and electronic information, and advanced equipment manufacturing.
In recent years, Guizhou has accelerated the construction of several key bases: a national hub for advanced resource processing, a research and production center for new energy batteries and materials, a nationwide computing power support base, a major national liquor production base, a new comprehensive energy base, and a significant national industrial backup base.
These efforts have begun to yield results, laying the foundation for a modernized industrial system in the province.
