Big Data Expo 2024 set for late August

The press conference for the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2024 took place in Beijing on July 30, revealing that the expo is scheduled to be held in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 28-30.

This year's expo aims to comprehensively showcase the latest developments, achievements, and cutting-edge trends in the global data industry.

It will feature professional exhibitions across six key areas: digital industrialization, industrial digitalization, data valorization, digital governance, new digital infrastructure, and data security.

Meanwhile, it will see the launch of a series of policies and recognize leading technological achievements.

The expo will emphasize a market-oriented approach, with businesses at its core, employing methods such as business-to-business promotions and targeted invitations to domestic and international industry leaders and major big data companies.

Moreover, the expo will leverage its role as an open, shared, and resource-converging platform for international exchanges and cooperation. Activities such as "Big Data Night Talks" and big data demonstration experiences will be held to foster international and regional collaboration in the data sector.
