Gui'an delivers remarkable business promotion results

In Gui'an New Area of Southwest China's Guizhou province, the Gui'an data center project invested in by the Bank of Communications will build machine rooms and other supporting rooms for no less than 200,000 servers, as well as offices for some 400 managing and production workers, to meet the business development demand of the bank over the next 15-20 years.

The Southwest (Gui'an) Cloud Computing Big Data Center project of Guizhou Hongyun Data Technology Co is also proceeding on track. The project landed here due to the park's unique advantages in new-type digital infrastructure, as well as its suitable natural conditions and friendly business environment.

As a prime destination for China's first big data comprehensive pilot zone, the new area has become a gathering place for large and ultra-large data centers from around the world.

As of May 10, Gui'an had inked 31 investment projects this year, valued at 23.58 billion yuan ($3.32 billion) in total, which accounts for 78.61 percent of its annual target.

Moving forward, the new area will focus on big data electronic information manufacturing, new energy and new materials, and advanced equipment manufacturing, and carry out its business attraction activities centered on the digital economy, State-owned enterprises, standard workshops, the headquarters economy, industrial chains, funds and industrial parks.
