Development plan focuses on digital economy

Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area will regard the digital economy as a new track for the development of new quality productive forces. In turn, these forces will build Guiyang into a prosperous provincial capital.

Guiyang and Gui'an are looking to promote the new digital infrastructure that will coordinate the development of computing power, networks, and applications. This will accelerate the upgrade of computing power transmission channels, while also promoting the construction, application, and enhancement of platforms such as BeiDou space-based big data.  

They aim to promote the deep integration of digital technologies and the real economy, which will accelerate the development of large-scale models in industries such as liquor, coal mining, and chemical industries.

The plan also includes hastening the development of the electronic information manufacturing industry, software industry, and information technology service industry. These efforts will focus on building a globally competitive cloud service industrial cluster that is supported by cloud infrastructure, cloud software products, and cloud development tools.

Furthermore, Guiyang and Gui'an seek to promote the assetization and capitalization of data. Once achieved, this will transform massive data into valuable data resources, strengthen data transactions, and establish the Guiyang Big Data Exchange as a national-level data entity.
